Training for the good of your horse

Welcome

Debbie Moore is a freelance dressage trainer and instructor offering lessons across Surrey and Sussex, with the option to travel further for clinics. She also provides tailored clinics for yards and riding clubs.

A knowledgeable and experienced teacher, Debbie has trained with leading international trainers and judges and has studied the Alexander Technique for many years. Her approach is grounded in Classical Dressage, equine and rider biomechanics, and a commitment to developing riders who are effective, confident and knowledgeable — without the use of force or gadgets.

Dressage training

Debbie has trained and competed up to Advanced level and brings over 40 years of teaching, training and riding experience. Her teaching style is calm, clear and rider-focused, helping you develop feel, balance and harmony with your horse.

She cares deeply about every horse she works with and supports riders in building a partnership based on trust, understanding and correct training.

Rider training

Lessons on a horse-riding simulator can offer a valuable addition to training, helping riders develop body awareness and muscle memory. They're particularly beneficial if you are recovering from injury, rebuilding confidence or wanting to refine your position without putting pressure on your horse.

Debbie regularly teaches on the Simulator at Quarry Farm Stables in Lingfield, Surrey.
